| Jacob took the effort to sell cucumbers from our garden to local neighbors. I think he almost made 5 dollars.
We had so many cucumbers, that we were giving them away each week. Next year, we will have to only plant one, not three cucumber plants.

Jacob joined me at my last doctor’s visit. He heard the heartbeat for the first time and we discussed my appointment for the next ultrasound, where we will find out the gender. Driving back in the car Jacob asked a few questions….
J: So, if the baby has hair it’s a girl and if not it’s a boy right?
Me: No, they can see the private parts.
J (after a moment to ponder): And if it has a mustache it’s a grown up!
J: Will the baby be naked when it comes out?
Me: Yes
Jacob: Oh my gosh that will be my first time seeing a naked person! |

A few stories from Jacob’s summer writing journal. I’m encouraging him to be creative, since he tends to write about the same thing over and over. Apparently he’s up to the task…
Whons (once) upon a time there was a girl who loved chalk and she drew animals and every night the animals came alive. She saw the animals playing outside she cam into the yard and played with them
Once upon a time there was a couch and it was not a ordinary couch it was a wishing couch and one day a girl wished to go to china so she could see dragons. She loved them alot.
Once upon a time there was a princess and her birthday was tomorrow. When she had her birthday she picked her first present and she got a dragon. She sent all the knights to get it. |

Hey Everyone
This is Jacob filling in for my mom. She totally is not on the ball with this blog. Lately, she’s been so “busy” laying on the couch or googling pregancy questions she just hasn’t updated things in a while. It’s not that I haven’t done anything cute…oh no I’ve given her PLENTY of material to write hundreds of posts. But I digress. I guess we were all a little busy finishing up the school year (I’m now officially a 2nd grader). But my mom has promised she’ll do a better job with updating the blog from now on (or at least until school starts again). Ok back to me, I’m going to be a big brother! I’m crossing my fingers for a brother although my mom is dying to paint my old room pink and buy dresses. I’ve decided to call the baby ‘Tucker’ from now on, I pretty much just thought it up in my head…seriously I did. We will find out what the true identity of this baby is in August, not to take away from my BIRTHDAY in August! The theme this year is a mix of Transformers and Star Wars…BOYS ONLY (except my mom) Well that pretty much does it. I need to get back to eating half the food in my house and watching cartoons. Hopefully the next post will be from mom.
Bye
